As clsc.net has now been in operation for more than 6 years a homepage update was long overdue. So, the past few weeks some effort has gone into producing what you see now.
Basically it is a bespoke template for a customized version of the WordPress blog engine. That seemed appropriate as I’ve been doing a fair share of WordPress development for various clients the past few years. And, sometimes one should take one’s own medicine.
Not that everything is ready and finished, it’s just that April 1 was planned as the launch deadline, so now it’s launching. Like that. Launch early and launch often.
You will still see additions and changes to the site moving forward. So, please bear with any oddities you may find. Some links may not work, some pages may still have the old design, etc. Rest assured that all this should be sorted out eventually.
Three brief points:
- This site is now (also) a blog. That means that it should have a news feed. It does not yet have a feed. But that will come – if not today, then tomorrow.
- You may comment on what is published here. For starters only this post is open for comments, but more will follow. The technical options “Pings” and “Trackbacks” are closed, and will remain so while the site is still being developed.
- It’s officially a dual-language site. Content will be available in Danish and English. For now, all content is available in English, but everything has not been translated to Danish yet.
